A LOOK AT SUR + | HUMAN RESOURCES IN HEALTH07/02/2019
Do you know SUR +?
The SUR + database, “MAS” – Health Asymmetry Monitoring, is a tool developed by ISAGS in a digital database format that compiles information, statistical series, maps, graphics and news related to regional asymmetries and their impacts in health in the South American region. Among the topics available are data on: health expenditures; human resources; infant and maternal mortality.
Every month, Health to the South, the digital magazine of ISAGS, brings a look inside the tool and some interesting facts that we can find in it.
For example, in the case of data on Human Resources in Health, SUR + has comparative numbers from two United Nations sources: PAHO (Pan American Health Organization) and CEPAL (Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean).
