The area of Medicines and Health Technologies incorporates a new researcher


The area of ​​Medicines and Health Technologies of ISAGS has as its main objective to strengthen the drug policy of the region, developing together with different actors and organizations, strategies that guarantee access to essential medicines and the sustainability of health systems.

Coordinated by Angela Acosta, the new researcher associated with this area is Tomasz Bochenek. MD, MPH and PhD, born in Poland, Dr. Bochenek is deputy director of the Institute of Public Health of the Faculty of Medicine of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland and assistant professor in the Department of Drug Administration. He also worked as an expert for the Ministry of Health of that country and in the Agency for the Evaluation of Health Technology and the Tariff System, among many other institutions in Poland and abroad.

Launched in September of this year, the Program of Associated Researchers of ISAGS was created with the purpose of promoting the exchange of knowledge in the area of ​​collective health for South America and to offer an opportunity of collaboration between independent researchers and those of ISAGS around the research developed by the Institute.
