Intervention of USAN, entitled "Framework for cooperation with non-State actors", developed by the Argentinian delegation of the South American Council of Health through the 68th World Health Assembly held between May 18 and 26, 2015, Geneva, Switzerland. As central themes related to the document, we can highlight the importance of the proposals made by Member States to the framework project for the cooperation of non-state actors and that were taken into consideration at the intergovernmental meeting. Also agreed on the need for Member States to maintain supervision over the process of due diligence in assessing and managing risks, in order to legitimize and support the actions carried out by the Secretariat, reaffirming, as such, the assessment of alternatives for the involvement of States in these processes. It also states that processes of the utmost care and diligence to assess and manage risks should be assigned to those industries whose activities are related to health. On the other hand, it confirms compliance with WHO not to accept loans from non-state actors, as well as the non-involvement of the private sector in any activity aimed at developing standards and policies of the Organization.
